What I did...:

Saturday

Gene came by noonish, or so. We had breakfast/lunch at Elmo's Diner, something that has practically become a regular thing. It's just a nice place for a breakfast, you know? And the veggy chili is *just* so amazing. (As we were waiting to get seated I wandered into a toy store and came back out with a key-chain magic 8-ball. It kept telling me "No." to everything nice I want to happen. Blah.)

What was less amazing was the table of three where each and every person kept turning around every now and then to look at me. No, they had no particular reason. *shrug* After I made an ass out of myself and my geography knowledge, Gene felt he had to draw a map of where New Jersey is. So I thought it was on an island. Whatever. :P

After food we went and saw Never Been Kissed with Drew Barrymore. 'Twas cute, but be prepared that the first half hour or so really isn't that.. funny. I did manage to get a crush on Drew's movie prom dress, as well as on the teacher she falls for, Michael Vartan. One of those kind'a fuzzy movies.

After an hours indecision on what to do afterwards we ended up at Aziza's mom's house where Aziza, Sarah and Gene took turns reading children's poems and things, and later went upstairs to play some CD-Rom game. And then me and Gene left to go watch some movies.

NEVER EVER order a 20 inch pizza. Especially not if you're only 2 people. You'll only see the crust pieces left over grow bigger and bigger until there's a bunch of half eaten slices and an enormous box left.

I found "Dazed and Confused" a lot of fun.

Sunday

I watched Gross Point Blank. I adore it. I adore John Cusack. I adore Minnie Driver. I adore Joan Cusack. But most of all I adore John Cusack

And then me and Gene went and saw Go again. Yes. It's *that* good. You should see it. Like. Now. You know? And I, I should dye my hair. Fuchsia. Like.. now. Okay.
