The Fall
The Fall was so sudden she forgot to scream. "I suppose I should be kicking and fighting to get back up," she thought, surprised there was so much time to think while the bubbles surrounded her tightly. Somehow it seemed more logical to just hold still. "It's like that rabbit hole," she thought, "I guess that means I am what's-her-name... Lizzie? Alice?"

The bubbles kept on errupting around her, but slowly, as if the water was mixed with jell-o. In fact, the initial impact seemed to drag on for several minutes. She even had time to grow bored of it.

"It seems there is only so long one can feel shocked. If this really is The Only Way Out, it is a very slow one."

When The Change come, she welcomed it, but the more the bubbles around her began to catch onto each other and stick, the more fear began to build inside of her.

It was indeed changing, but into what?
