I first bought my mk1 in the summer of 2005. I had long wanted to own a mk1 but had never found one at a good price local to me but after a few months of looking through the free-ads i was in luck!

A 1987 mk1 with tax and mot for £500 was shortly mine(after a bit of negotiation with one dull woman!)

At first i was happy with the car, but soon i was after more power. 4agze here we come i thought! But after pricing up a supercharger swap it didnt seem worthwhile for the gain. It was at this point i found www.twobrutal.co.uk . Basically its a website full of nutters who are putting either a 2 litre turbo or a 3litre v6 into the tiny mk1!

After a bit of browsing the site i thought, 'why not, if they can do it so can i! ', well, we'll soon find out anyway lol.

I've purchased an apparently complete revision2 turbo clip through the imoc.co.uk. I am planning to pick this clip up on January 14th. Its gonna be a 700mile roundtrip in a 15year old transit but should be an experience anyway!
