Aaron Huffman is in his second year as a member of the West Liberty State College Women's Basketball Coaching Staff. In addition to his coaching duties, he also serves as the school's NCAA Compliance Officer. During the past two seasons, his work with the 'Topper guards helped the squad to a national second-best in 2000 and national best in 2001 in NCAA three-point field goals made per game.

Huffman, a Waynesburg, PA native, came to West Liberty from Waynesburg Central High School where he served as the head ninth grade boy's basketball coach from 1994-96 and as the varsity boy's defensive, speed, and strength coach from 1996-99. During the '98-'99 season, Huffman co-coached Waynesburg to a 17-9

record, one of the best seasons in the school's history. The former Waynesburg High basketball standout played junior college basketball at Penn State McKeesport from 1991-92.

In 1997, Huffman received a B.S. Degree in Secondary Mathematics Education from West Virginia University. In 2000, he earned his Masters Degree from the West Virginia University Department of Physical Education in Athletic Coaching Administration.

As a basketball assistant, Huffman is responsible for recruiting, practice-planning, on-court instruction, individual player development, and fund-raising.
