                           Huffman |  | Aaron Huffman is in his second year as a member
                  of the West Liberty State College Women's
                  Basketball Coaching Staff. In addition to his coaching duties,
                  he also serves as the school's NCAA Compliance Officer. During
                  the past two seasons, his
                  work with the 'Topper guards helped the squad
                  to a national second-best in 2000 and national best in 2001 in
                  NCAA three-point field goals
                  made per game.
 Huffman, a Waynesburg, PA native, came to West
                  Liberty from Waynesburg Central High School where
                  he served as the head ninth grade boy's basketball
                  coach from 1994-96 and as the varsity boy's
                  defensive, speed, and strength coach from 1996-99.
                  During the '98-'99 season, Huffman co-coached
                  Waynesburg to a 17-9
 |  
            
               |  record, one of the best
                  seasons in the school's history. The former Waynesburg High basketball standout played junior
                  college basketball at Penn State McKeesport from
                  1991-92.
 In 1997, Huffman received a B.S. Degree in
                  Secondary Mathematics Education from West Virginia
                  University. In 2000, he earned his Masters
                  Degree from the West Virginia University Department of Physical Education
                  in Athletic Coaching Administration.
 
 As a basketball assistant, Huffman is responsible
                  for recruiting, practice-planning, on-court
                  instruction, individual player development, and
                  fund-raising. In addition to his basketball and NCAA
                  Compliance
                  duties,
                  Huffman is the Assistant Men's Golf Coach, works as a Financial Aid Counselor, and acts as an

              | assistant in the Sports
                  Information Department where he shares in the responsibility
                  for
                  the construction and maintenance of the internet
                  webpages of the West Liberty State College Athletic
                  Department. 
 Huffman resides in Washington, PA with his wife, Courtney.
 
 (Note:  In June 2001, Huffman left the women's staff to
                join the West Liberty men's basketball staff.)
