Assistant Coach
Missy Tiber

Missy Tiber

Missy Tiber is in her sixth year as a member of the West Liberty State College Athletic Department. The former Lady Hilltopper star was a three-year starter and All-Conference performer from 1991-94. During her senior campaign, she captained the 'Toppers to a school record 18 victories and concluded her career as an All-WVIAC performer and an All-Tournament selection.

In her career she was a team captain and an annual Dean's List student. She scored 926 career points and dished out 110 career assists, placing her among West Liberty's all-time leaders in each category.

Missy hails from Bellaire, Ohio, where she was a valuable member of Coach Gregg Bonar's OVAC champion Big Reds. As a basketball assistant, she is responsible for recruiting, practice-planning, weight-training, conditioning, on-court instruction, and scheduling. Coach Tiber had done a tremendous job with the Lady 'Topper post players helping them earn WVIAC honors nine different times. Her presence has been felt in the Hilltopper program, as she has either been a player or coach in nine of the last ten seasons. In addition to her basketball duties, Missy has spent the last six years as the college's head volleyball coach. She is currently the head resident of Krise Hall and is working toward her Master's degree from West Virginia University.  (Note:  In June 2001, Coach Tiber left West Liberty to take the head women's basketball coaching position at Belmont Abbey.)
