MRS. KATE CARTER DIES
FOLLOWING OPERATION

Mrs. Kate Carter, aged 76, wife of Allen Carter, 50 South Vine street, died Wednesday afternoon in St. Anthony Hospital, Columbus. She had been suffering from diabetes for a number of years but it was not until a month ago that her condition became serious. It was necessary to amputate her limb Monday and death was due to a bad heart condition.
Funeral arrangements were not complete at press time according to K. R. Fichner, funeral director, in charge.
Besides her husband she is survived by one daughter, Mrs. Lucille Parker, and three grandchildren, Warren and Robert Parker and Correne Parker. Warren "Dewey" Parker is a student at Ohio University and is a member of this year's football team.
Mrs. Carter was a member of the first graduating class of Wseterville High School and at their fiftieth anniversary several years ago she took active part in the celebration. She has been a resident of all her life.
