RITES ARE HELD FOR
ALLEN J. CARTER, 80
The funeral services for Allen J. Carter, age 80, who died at his home, 50 South Vine street, early Thursday morning, were held in the Methodist Church Sunday at 2:30, with Rev. W. L. Steffens, officiating. Burial was made in Otterbein Cemetery with Kenneth Fichner in charge.
Mr. Carter's wife preceded him in death just seven months ago. He had been ill about a month. He is survived by a daughter, Mrs. Lucille Parker, three grandchildren, Warren, Robert and Corinna Parker, and one brother, Frank C. Carter of Columbus.
