Funeral services were held at the residence, 190 South State street, Sunday afternoon for Mrs. Dema Olivia Cockrell, aged 76, wife of W. R. Cockrell, who died on Thursday of last week of paralysis. Following the services at which Rev. F. M. Pitkin officiated, the body was placed in Otterbein cemetery under the direction of G. W. Stockdale & Son.
Mrs. Cockrell was a life-ling resident of this vicinity. She was born in Harlem township but has lived for many years in Westerville. She was a past matron of Mizpah chapter, Order of Easter Star.
In addition to her husband, three children survive: a daughter, Miss Laura Cockrell; two sons, Otto W. Cockrell, and W. B. Cockrell, city solicitor of Westerville; four grandchildren and three great grandchildren.
