Dies After Illness of 3 Weeks

Funeral services for William Riley Cockrell, 90, who died at his home, 290 South State street, Sunday, following a serious illness of three weeks, were held Wednesday afternoon at the residence with burial in the Mausoleum at Otterbein cemetery, with Geo. W. Stockdale and Son in charge. Services were conducted by Rev. A. A. Pratt, and Blendon lodge, of which he was a past master and had been trustee for a number of years. He was also a member of Horeb chapter and Zabud council.
He is survived by two sons, Otto and W. B., and one daughter, Laura; a brother, James Cockrell; four grandchildren, and 8 great grandchildren. Mr. Cockrell had lived in this vicinity all his life, having been born near Center Village. He brother is 92 years of age and lives in Florida.
