to Heart Ailment
Rev. J. Neely Boyer and President J. R. Howe conducted funeral services for Mrs. Mary Elizabeth Resler, age 72, Columbus, a trustee of Otterbein college, who died Thursday at St. Francis Hospital, following a heart ailment. The services were held at 3 p.m., Sunday, in the United Brethren church. Prof. G. G. Grabill played a number of organ selections.
Mrs. Resler, widow of the late Frank J. Resler, was a resident of Westerville from childhood days until her marriage. She was graduated from Otterbein college in the class of 1893 and was an accomplished musician. She and her husband taught music in the Iowa State college and later were on the music faculty at Otterbein. They had been living in Columbus for several years. She is survived by a son, Frank C. Resler of Columbus.
Entombment was in Otterbein Mausoleum by K. R. Fichner.
