FUNERAL TODAY FOR
DR. McKENDREE SMITH
Funeral services for Dr. McKendree Smith, 65, of Marble Cliff, former had of the Columbus board of health, who died Tuesday of a heart attack while in his office, 1278 Arlington Ave., will be held at 2 p.m. today, Thursday at the residence.
Failing health caused Dr. Smith to give up active practice six months ago.
He is a graduate of Otterbein College, Ohio Northern university and the old Ohio Medical university. He formerly was a resident of Westerville.
Surviving are his widow, Mrs. Mertie Smith; a son, Floyd B. Smith, Wolverhampton, England; a daughter, Mrs. Louella Nau; a sister, Mrs. Geo. W. Tooil; four grandchildren and three brothers, Charles and Orville Smith of Worthington, and A. Nelson Smith of Columbus.
The body will be placed in the mausoleum in Otterbein Cemetery.
