Retired Farmer Dies

Emery McLeod, aged 89, one of Westerville's oldest residents died Sunday evening, at the home of his daughter Miss Allie McLeod, N. State Street. He had been ill for only a short time. Mr. McLeod, a retired farmer, was formerly a member of the fourteenth Regiment of the Ohio National Guard.
His funeral services were held Wednesday afternoon, at the Methodist Church, burial in the Mausoleum, at Otterbein Cemetery, with Geo. W. Stockdale & Son in charge.
Besides the daughter he is survived by two other daughters, Mrs. L. E. Whitehead and Mrs. Fred Ulry of Galena; a sister, Mrs. Carrie Williams and seven grandchildren
