Dies Following
Brief Illness
Funeral services were held Monday afternoon in the First E. U. B. Church for Robert E. Courtright, 2770 Walnut Rd., who died last Friday in Doctor's Hospital following an operation for acute pancreatitis.
MR. COURTRIGHT was formerly president of Auld Crafters, Inc., manufacturing jewelers in Columbus and he was a director of the First National Bank, Baltimore, Ohio. He was a member of the First E. U. B. Church, various Masonic orders and the Aladdin Temple Shrine.
A native of Carroll, Ohio he has been a resident of Westerville since 1937, with the exception of eight years when he lived in Columbus and Worthington. His wife, Mrs. Ada Courtright, died five years ago.
HE IS survived by a son, A. Monroe Courtright, publisher of The Public Opinion and president of Westerville Press, Inc.; a daughter, Mrs. June Stewart, with whom he made his home; five grandchildren, Kristy, Karla and Mary Courtright, and Bobby and Mary Jane Stewart.
Also surviving are a sister, Mrs. Walter Howells, Indian Lake, Ohio and five brothers, Earl W., Columbus; Ezra, Reynoldsburg; Ivan, Los Angeles, Calif.; Harry, Newark,;and Allen, Columbus.
SERVICES WERE under the direction of Dr. M. J. Miller and entombment was in the Otterbein Mausoleum under the direction of Jerry Spears.
