Nesebar (ne-zeb'-ar) is an ancient city, used by  Greek sailors prior to the birth of Christ as a resort; therefore, there are ruins from the Greeks, the Romans, and the Ottoman Turkish periods.  Today it is a major tourist center on the Black Sea.

As you cross the bridge from the new town to the ancient town, you encounter a windmill which has become the logo of Nesebar.  (Notice the advertisement for a bank on the side of this national landmark.  They have a ways to go yet in preserving their national treasures.)
