LUCECITA y ROBERTO En Los Premios ACE - Marzo 21, 1998

I was called on March 21, 1998 to attend this reception at the Marriot
Marqui Hotel in Manhattan so that I could be near my idol Lucecita..she was
wearing a black beaded outfit with matching purse..her hair was lightened and
cut short...she asked me and Juan Carlos to sit at her table and we both
bought her a bottle of Dom Perignon for which she was overjoyed...she received
her plaque and we escorted her to her room....everyone there stopped her to
ask for autographs and pictures...it was a beautiful evening we spent with Lucecita!


This page is dedicated to the national voice of Puerto Rico...Lucecita Benitez...this picture shows

Lucecita and myself at a benefit concert in PR Sept. 17, 1997 which Luz Esther dedicated for

children with AIDS...Lucecita remains as Latin America's best performer and I am honored to be

her number one fan and friend for many years...Roberto Tirado
