PV Transit Hall Updated By Bille
How do you find your way to the many homes and constructions of Pink Village? The Transit Hall and it's 8 connected squares have been updated - but do you know how to use it?
Each of the 8 squares contains a local index consisting of one sign for each home/construction in that specific area. In the PV Transit Hall a circle of teleports to all the 8 squares is carrying the similar local sub-indexes.
Index of the Southern Square. |
Example; You like to visit Monny's home but can't find it in the PV Yellow Pages. You teleport to the Transit Hall at AW 2236s 2263e and point the cursor arrow at the teleport signs to find out which local square to choose. Aha! That's it - the Southern Square. You now teleport to the Southern Square, and there you will find this quarter's sub-index. The signs are black and easy to see if you are standing at the square's centre. One of the signs will take you to Monny's home...
Ya... this might sound complicated, but believe me - when you know the system, you will need 10 seconds to go through this 2-steps movement. And you might find PV locations that you never saw before...
Is your home included to this system? Or do you want it named differently? Please check it out and report any wishes. There are currently no such local index for Queer Square/the Pink Island. It will be worked on very soon, though.

got big, it was merry! Attendees relaxed in the outside swimming pool (see picture: at this point, noone dared to go skinny dipping yet! ;-)), as well as in the bar upstairs by the observation deck.
The Center also features a kitchen and a dining room, a pool (billiards) table, a living room, a dance floor, outside bar-b-q area by the swimming pool, and an upstairs study and open roof deck.
The Center is located by a small lake and a picnic island, and has a Guest Cottage behind it by another lake and waterfalls. Nearby, one can also find the Lesbianville Teleport Garden, the Rainbow Center dedicated to women's web resources, and a theatre currently playing "The Incredible True Adventures of Two Girls in Love".
Visit the Community Center at AW 2278s 2252e!

Movie Gala Premiere in AW By Bille/source: ActiveWorlds.com's Press releases
Let's participate at the gala premiere along with the moviestars, when Centropolis
Interactive and Columbia TriStar Interactive in conjunction with Activeworlds.com, Inc., unveil
the world's first virtual gala premiere of a major motion picture. And after the gala, we can
invite the stars over to Pink Village for a night cap...
On May 24th at 23:00 VRT (*), Columbia Pictures' sci-fi thriller THE THIRTEENTH FLOOR will
premiere in AW with all of the excitement, grandeur and celebrity guests of a live Hollywood
premiere. Anyone can attend the virtual premiere to watch celebrity arrivals up close, participate in
interactive discussions with the film's stars and filmmakers and get a look at the film's
theatrical trailer. Fans will be escorted to the bleachers and journalists will station
themselves behind the ropes, preparing for a live Q&A or chat with the stars as they arrive.
This sci-fi thriller explores the ominous possibility of computer simulated universes, stars
Craig Bierko, Vincent D'Onofrio, Gretchen Mol, Dennis Haysbert and Armin Mueller-Stahl and is
directed by Josef Rusnak. The film opens in theaters (USA) on May 28th.
To participate, on May 24th you can log onto the premiere by accessing the Activeworlds.com
browser and selecting THE THIRTEENTH FLOOR Premiere World option from the menu. Before the gala
premiere, we'll arrange a local 'warming-up' in Pink Village.
(*) Time to be confirmed by mail to all PV citizens and friends later on.
