I am very interested in public policy and politics. I have served on the national executive of one of Canada's political parties but have never run for office. Thus, if you have anything to say about public policy, be aware that I am interested. Also, as an economist, I teach public policy and have a text which includes in the title "Public". You will also find I have written articles in readings books on Canadian politics too.
It seems to me that there are many references out there as to why one is emotionally blackmailed but one permits it to happen to oneself. One has the choice to move out of the abusive situation and while it might be painful and against one's nature, it means one is taking care of self and honoring self and God in doing so.
