My friend Thomas and I are grateful to all “amateur Aegyptologists” for visiting our www pages. Through these pages, we love to share with you our photographs from this very photogenic and for tourists very attractive country. We travelled around Egypt in the autumn of 1995 with the aim of seeing the sites of ancient Egyptian civilization. When you look at TV documentaries and study available literature, you can form some impressions of the Nile, the pyramids and temples, but only personal impression will truly convey their stateliness, which is quite unforgettable. If you consider a tour of Egypt, do not hesitate and GO!

If you saw the previous version of our web site, I would be grateful for your comments about our new graphic work. I tried hard to produce most of it from our own sources, using mainly our own photos. The accompanying text and some pictures are from selected popular and instructive works on Aegyptology. The citations are shown in the hyperlink "Sources".
