Walking the Dogs

I asked my partner if we could go over to the school, a couple of blocks away to "walk the dogs". Of course, since it would be
quite dark, I suggested that I go en femme. Well, last night was out. Too much to do, too late, too tired... So today while we
were out shopping, my partner says to me, "If you go to Staples with me, we can go out and "walk the dogs" tonight.
(You see, we were already going to get our nails done, {fill for her, manicure for me}, and after spending what we did on her
new notebook PC, I didn't really want to go to Staples to get more equipment!) Anyway...
So, of course I jumped all over that chance! We went to the movie store, Staples, skipped getting our nails done, (too long a
wait), and ordered delivery after we got home. I asked my partner to pick out an outfit for me since she was willing to go out
with me. I told her that I wanted her to be comfortable with the choice of clothing and that I wanted to look nice for her! She
chose my calf length black skirt, a horizontal black & white striped zip up blouse and a beautiful pair of black leather high
heel sandals.
So, time to get ready for me... tuck, tease, adjust boobs, comb, tug and buckle, then I am ready. We get the dogs, such cute
little things, and out the front door we go. I live in a townhouse community, so not much around to hide me. We decided that it might be better if we go out the back way. I was very nervous. (I have not been out in the neighborhood presenting as female that often - other than jumping in the car to go elsewhere...) So, out the back and down the big hill to the road.
Several cars pass in each direction and I kept my head averted, (looking at the dog, he was sooo cooperative! ) and off to the
school yard we go. It was a beautiful walk, very quiet, very dark and intimate. The moon hanging dimly in the sky as if
someone had turned down the dimmer switch. A perfect night for a stroll. She checked my walk for correct presentation and
said that I was doing great! (thanks for all the tips girls!) We got to the halfway point and had a cig.
Then the walk back.
I was torn. Happy to be out, disappointed to be going back and dreading that hill into the backyard! About halfway back, my
partner says, "You know, that hill was a pain and I don't want to step on any toads. I think we should just walk in the front
way, what do you think?" Well, I was again torn... I didn't want to walk up that hill, but I was worried about being outed to
the neighborhood as well. So I asked if she was prepared for the neighbors to "see me". After she said she didn't really care
and to heck with them, the decision was made.
Many bright street lights and several pee stops for the dog, we're walking up the middle of the street towards our home. I
kept my head up, shoulders back and presented as best I could. The main thing was that I had the approval of my partner and
I was finally able to "go where I wanted, dressed as I wanted to be"!
No one came out banging pots and pans, no one called the police, no lynch mob gathered to "take care" of things. It was calm
and peaceful, a perfect end to a wonderful experience.
