chapter thirteen
Melody and Shane were sitting on the soft sands.
'What a nice beach…' Melody said. 'And know what? I love seas and beaches.'
'Me too.' Shane smiled. 'What's up with you and Alexander?'
'I think he's dead.'
'I'm sorry to hear about that…'
'Nevermind, what about you? Do you have a girlfriend?'
'No. You know what I mean, I think I've found what I've been searching for, but, it's not mine. What can I do?' Shane asked.
Melody got the meaning. 'Nothing actually.'
Shane laughed. 'If you were me?'
'If I were you, I wouldn't leave that alone, I'd tell the girl how much I love her.'
'Should I?'
'Yes.' Melody answered.
Shane leaned closer to Melody and softly gave her a kiss on her lips. Melody looked at him.
'That girl is you. I love you.' Shane said slowly, 'I don't care about Alexander.'
'Well, Karen told me that you like me. I didn't believe it. I had never thought it's true.'
'But it is.'
Melody didn't say anything then, she looked up to the sky. Shane was getting serious.
'Be my girlfriend…Will you?'
Melody didn't answer. She started to sing 'If I Let You Go'.
'Oh God I've heard a very nice voice.' Shane smiled. He got her answer. He took his new girlfriend's hand. 'It's time to go and see the others.'
Melody felt the warmth of Shane's hand. She couldn't believe that she was in love with a pop star.
'Where will you go?' She asked Shane.
'I'll go to the place where you're going.'
'But... I mean to find the other lads...do you have your mobile phone with you?'
'Oh yeah...' Shane picked up his mobile phone.
'Hello, Ki?' Shane talked with Kian. 'What? Where the hell are you now? Okay I'm coming. Bye.'
'What happen?' Melody asked.
Kian told me that Mark is in trouble. Anyway be quick.' Shane and Melody quickly got on a taxi.
