My name is Chris Dittenhafer and I would like to introduce myself as the President of the West Portal Avenue Association. My own experience as past president of the San Francisco Council of Merchants has allowed me to make many contacts within city government. I hope to utilize these contacts when we can to assist in our pursuits. I am excited at the opportunity to work with my fellow business leaders to promote the Avenue and keep it the wonderful business corridor it is today. I encourage each of you to take part in the Association as your support is the strength by which we can all be successful. I will be working with a great Board of Directors to solve some of the issues we all face. Mark your calendars for our artist's reception on April 19th. It will be a fun time to relax and chat with fellow merchants and artists. |

West Portal will be hosting it’s Annual Spring Fair with the Pacific Fine Arts & Crafts Festival on the sidewalks of West Portal Avenue between Ulloa Street and 15th Avenue on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, April 19, 20, and 21, 2002 from 9:00 am until 5:00pm. This is a free event to the public. There will be no street closure. Merchants without valid (bureau of street use and mapping) permits shall not be allowed to display or sell merchandise on the public sidewalk. (DPW Section 183.5). Merchants interested in displaying on the public sidewalk should contact the Fair Producer, Dana Hale-Mournier, at 209.296.1195 or pfa@netwiz.net. Let's keep our fingers crossed for sunny weather!! |

6:00 p.m Wells Fargo Banka 145 West Portal Ave Please come and mingle with your fellow merchants and the Artist’s who will bring their crafts to the Avenue. |
