Macon's Cherry Blossoms

In 1939 William Arthur Fickling, Sr. joined his fledgling real estate company with B. Sanders Walker, Jr.'s insurance agency to form Fickling & Walker Realty and Insurance.  Fickling & Walker grew to be Macon's most prominent real estate company, a position it has held for many years. 

A few years after Mr. Fickling's death, Roy Fickling purchased Fickling & Walker's real estate brokerage business from his grandfather's estate, and continues in the traditional family business as Fickling & Company.
