Academic Retreat 

This years Academic Retreat took place at UNC-Chapel Hill On Saturday, October 26, 2002 from 9:30a.m. to 2:30 p.m. The Academic Retreat is designed to give BLSA members a better understanding of the expectation of Law School. Thus, enabling BLSA members to better prepare for their law school career. 

The Acadeimic Retreat consisted of several Seminas: 

"How to Answer an Exam Question" by Professor Hubbard 
"Preparing to Take the Bar Exam" by Dana Clemmons 
"Conducting Legal Research" by LexisNexis (Claudia) 
"Preparing for an Interview" by LexisNexis (Claudia) 
"Preparing for Summer Internships"  

Students from Duke, North Carolina Central University, University North Carolina, and Wake Forest University attended the Academic Retreat.
