The Wharton Veterans Club

Mission:

To assist former military MBA students in the career recruiting process and to promote networking among veterans in the business world

        Within the ranks of Wharton MBA candidates, there exists a relatively small cadre of men and women who served their country in the armed forces.  Entrusted with some of the weightiest of responsibilities and trained to step into harm's way, these former military professionals faced adversity and did not falter, but rather excelled.  Their leadership has been tested by the harsh reality of the occasional headstrong subordinate and exacting senior officer.  Their resolve has been tested by the unforgiving perils of the sea, air and land and in many cases, armed and hostile opposing forces.

                As a result of their demanding experiences in the military, Wharton Veterans are exceptionally equipped with core skills essential to today’s business professionals, such as leadership, teamwork, and task accomplishment.  These skills will be complemented as they participate in the world class core curriculum and elective courses offered at the Wharton School.  The potential of these men and women is boundless.
