Maybe absence DOES make the heart grow fonder. She thought.
But, to her dismay, the peace didn’t last much longer. “You didn’t come to any of the concerts, did you?” Chris asked, a touch of that familiar pain in his eyes. Jersey hesitated. “No, I didn’t. I’m sorry Chris, there’s nothing I would rather do than see you boys perform, but I couldn’t get away from my studies or the hospital long enough.” Chris studied her face for a moment. He started to say something, but Jersey cut him off. “Chris, please.” She begged. “This is the first night I’ve seen you in months. Please let’s not ruin this by fighting again.” He sighed, but nodded. “You’re right. Come on, let’s get out of here.” |

Chris took a few seconds to let the entire phrase sink in. "You... want ME... Chris Kirkpatrick... to baby sit. A baby. A baby girl," he hesitated. "...Do you realize who you're talking to?" "Chris," Katherine started. "Please. I don't want Alexa all alone in our hotel, and I can't find a sitter. I'll drop her off at your house, and pick her up when I'm finished. All you have to do is watch over her, nothing big. Please, Chris. You're my last hope!" she stated desperately. "Kat..." Chris started to protest. "She's only three... she won't get into much trouble, I promise!" |

The tune of Sisqo's Thong Song blasted out from the speakers full blast. 'Let me seee that thooooooong... baby make your booty go dun dun dun...' Justin and Chris exchanged glances, and burst out laughing. What great timing, Chris thought to himself as he watched Alexa turned away from the little sand castle she was attempting to build with her teddy bear. She stared at the car that was blasting the music, and listened to the song thoughtfully. Then, she turned and stared at Joey. "Joey, I have a question to ask you." Chris knew this line all too well. "Ask away," he replied, unaware of the mess he was getting himself into. "What's a thong?" Joey fell silent. He looked at Justin for support, but he just shrugged. Chris smiled. "Yeah, Joey. What IS a thong?" he asked, trying to resist the temptation to laugh like a maniac. "Umm..." Joey stuttered. He looked up, and sought the perfect distraction, but there weren't any. "It's a shoe, Alexa. It's a shoe," he managed to say. |

Lance shook his head and leaned back in his seat. They were just taking off-- he hated this part. He espeically hated it on night flights, like this one, because he was tired, and the pressure and popping in his ears seemed to magnify. But soon enough they had leveled off and were headed for Missouri. He leaned his head against the wall of the plane and closed his eyes. Just as Lance was beginning to drift off, he felt a jolt. "Turbulance," he muttered, never opening his eyes. He leaned back against the wall, trying to find the comfortable position he'd discovered. He did so just as the plane jolted again. This time, he opened his eyes to see the lights on the plane flicker. Frowning, he sat up. Chris was awake beside him, and across the isle, he saw the rest of the group looking around in confusion. "What's going on?" Justin mumbled sleepily. "Uhh... ladies and gentlemen, this is your pilot," a voice came through the speakers suddenly. "What appears to have happened is..." They could all tell from the tone of his voice that something a little worse than turbulance was the source of their problem. "We've flown into a storm, and the aircraft has been damaged. We're right over the Rockies, so we're going to turn around and go back to Tacoma. We should be there--" he was cut off as the power went down and the plane went dark. People screamed, and even *N Sync themselves panicked. A moment later, the power returned, but the message was grim. A red light flashed in the cabin, and the voice of the pilot was tense. "Prepare for an emergency landing. We're going down." |

"Hey Joey, check out that girl!" Chris exclaimed. "Which girl?" Joey asked, eagerly looking around at the sea of female fans surrounding them. "THAT one, genius!" Chris pointed to a girl who appeared to be a little older than most of the fans who were present. "If my eyes are telling me correctly, she might just be legal." "Legal is good," Lance put in. "It'll keep Joey from getting arrested." "Legal is bad," JC said as he tossed a dead pen over his shoulder and reached for a fresh one. "It'll keep Joey out all night." A moment of silence passed while more autographs were signed and 'N Sync talked with their fans. Finally, Joey was able to retort as he had to pause to shake a cramp out of his hand. "Will not!" he exclaimed in a hushed tone. |

She sat in the club for a couple hours, patiently listening to Chris talk about...nothing. She remembered vaguely discussing college, but not much else. She did keep drinking this tea stuff, and that was really good. It made her a little woozy and she started to act...different. She was talking to everybody that walked by, and laughed for no apparent reason at everything.
Bailey saw JC come towards her with something in a glass. "Heya JC," she said, her words slurred slightly. "Whatcha got there?"
"Bloody Mary," he answered. "Oh," she said. "I've been drinking a lot of iced tea," she giggled. "I don't know what's in it," she shook her head. "But it gives me quite a head rush." Long Island Iced Tea. She is totally smashed. He grinned as she talked on about something. She was truly sexy when she babbled, he realized. Perfect. Tonight is the night.

Meghan kept trying to adjust her top to make it fit. She knew that this wasn’t her top. Her
top fit the day before. Her boobs couldn’t of grown that much in a day.
“Are we having costume problems?” Joey asked, as he and Lance walked up to them. “Yes!” Meghan said frustrated. “Meghan! You’re wearing my top!” Kristen said coming out of the girls’ dressing room, wearing her bra. In her hand she held a pink sequin tube top. She threw it at Meghan. “Dumbass,” commented Kristen in her exasperated voice. “Good deal! I knew my boobs were bigger than this!” she said going into the dressing room to change. That made Joey and Lance laugh hard, very hard. “Oh yeah Meghan is the Britney Spears of our little trio.” Angel said. “But at least her boobs are real.” Kristen chimed in as they walked back to their dressing room. Joey and Lance were now on the floor laughing. |

Dear 'N Sync, So who am I? My name is Sarah Marie Kirkpatrick. OK, now I wait for reactions. Explaination? That's my name, plain and simple. For the past 16 years. No relation to Chris that I know of...My life is a living hell right now. My parents are divorcing. Yeah so what big deal, half the population is divorced. But my father was trying to drug my mother and have her commited. It's just all this stuff that's happening, and all I can do is sit and watch and get pulled under...I told my friend Josh one time I would commit suicide if I didn't have so much to live for. Now I wonder what's keeping me from it, what's worth living for... |
