Keanu Reeves will reappear as Neo in two Matrix sequels.
Warner Brothers, the studio that produced the blockbuster film has agreed to a multi-million dollar deal for the two sequels.
The Wachowski Brothers, who directed and wrote The Matrix, have long hinted that the movie was to be a trilogy. The storyline in the first sequel will pick up where the first film ends.
Speculations has the second film ending with a cliff-hanger, like Empire Strikes Back did before Return of the Jedi. The films will be shot back-to-back in Sydney, Australia, just like the first film.
