Warriors News:

October 17, 2004 - This week 13,128 spectators had found their way to Seagram's Stadium, despite the heavy rain, to watch the Warriors battle the FC Brigade in the season opener. Much to the disappointment of the fans, Brigade came out on top 2-3. Péter Káplár, the new coach of the Warriors, did not seem too upset with the end result. However, an extra training session was scheduled.

Warriors battle the Green Monday FC on Wednesday night in the second round of the Canada Cup tournament. Rino Bonasio, the clubs most recent addition, could make his debut in this game. Rino is a nineteen year old midfield prospect who was expected to be dealt, but an injury to Rini Donkervoort could keep him in Waterloo for a while.

Construction on the expansion of Seagram's Stadium is now complete. The improvements bring the capacity of the arena to 30,000 screaming fans. Fans will also notice the widened city streets around the facility allowing for easier access to the new underground parking garage. The Clubhouse restaurant features a newly expanded menu, and on Wednesdays fans will enjoy wing night at the sports bar.
