October 31, 2004 - This week 12,153 spectators arrived at Seagram's Stadium, where weather conditions were pretty good for football.
The visitors, P.B.I., managed a 2-4 victory with forward Stever Hurtubise scoring a hattrick.
Leon Sroczy?ski scored two for the Warriors and jumps into a five-way tie for second place in series scorers.
Ariel Da Costa also had a good game, but was held of the scorers list.
In series play, the Burfordians managed to hold off the challenging Easter Delight 2-1 and remain in first place.
Easter's Bamidelle Youwe, the series top scorer, was injured in the game and is expected to miss the next two games.
On Wednesday the Warriors were victorious in the Netherlands defeating the Alkmaria Vicktory 1-3.
The next friendly will be held at Seagram's against the Desborough FC from Buckinghamshire, England.
Warriors promoted Hal Dougherty, a wingback with some playmaking promise, from their youth squad.
However, he is expected to be moved later this week.
