December 5, 2004 - This weeks match in the mud pit started off good for the Warriors as the two newcomers combined to score first.
Rookie forward Erwan Gillissen finished off a corner by Mislav Valentic in the first minute of play.
This seemed to wake up the Ballhogs who came back 6-1 and remain atop the series.
The Pskov Storm upset the Templiers 4-2 in front of the home fans and jump to fifth place in the standings.
Templiers are now just one loss away from losing their foothold on the number four spot they have held for three straight seasons.
Bamidelle Youwe remain on top of the series scorers list with just ten goals in eight games.
Three other players are tied for second with seven including teammate Dennis Terreehorst and Ballhogs Jan Saar and Robert Braden.
On Wednesday the Warriors played another muddy match in Argentina where they lost 4-2 to Chiche Vespoli.
Arnoud Grassere and Forest Goulding scored in the first half but the Warriors failed to hang on to a 1-2 lead.
This week the Warriors travel to Belgium to face the Real Calonge in a friendly match.
They then return home to host the Burfordians on Sunday.
A small group of fans have announced plans to stage a protest at the Waterloo Region International Airport when the team arrives in response to recent losses.
Coach Péter Káplár has urged fans not to worry and has stated that the hard work and training of his players will soon pay off.
