The next morning came and Lucky was the first one up. He went downstairs to make some coffee and shortly there after Emily came into the kitchen.

Emily: For a second I thought last night was a dream.

Lucky: Yeah me too.

Emily: Nikolas told me about what happened to you, I'm so sorry Lucky. All that you went through and knowing we all thought you were dead, how did you get through it?

Lucky: That's easy, Elizabeth. I just thought about her.

Emily: Umm Nikolas told me you were not going to see her right away. Why?

Lucky: She moved on Em….with your brother. I can't mess with her life like that. She is happy.

Emily: Oh Lucky, I'm so sorry, but I know Liz still loves you. You know she still wears your bracelet….and your ring. I mean she moved the ring to her other hand, but she still wears it Lucky.

Hearing Emily say that Liz still wore his jewelry made Lucky happy but it did not change the fact that she still had moved on. Lucky placed his hand on his upper chest feeling the only thing he had from his life with Liz. The one thing he cherished the most.

Lucky: Well first things first, I need to see my parents. Nikolas is going to come with me.

Emily: Good.

Just then Nikolas walked into the kitchen fully dressed. He walked over to Emily and gave her a kiss.

Nikolas: Morning.

Emily: Good morning baby.

Nikolas: So you ready to go?

Lucky: Ready as I'll ever be.

Nikolas: Okay, (turns to Emily) I'll be back later.

Emily: Okay.

Lucky and Nikolas left the cottage and headed to the Spencer home.

Nikolas: You know your parents are back together right?

Lucky: Are they? No I didn't know, wow.

Nikolas: So how do you want to do this? Do you want me to go in and prepare them or do you want to get the shock done right a way?

Lucky: Well I don't want to scare them so maybe you should prepare them.

Nikolas: Okay.

After a few minutes they made it to the house. Nikolas got out of the car while Lucky waited. Nikolas went up to the front door and knocked. Laura answered.

Laura: Nikolas what a surprise, come in.

Nikolas: Thanks.

Laura: So what brings you here? Is Emily okay?

Nikolas: Emily is fine. Mom I need to talk to you and Luke together. It's really important.

Laura: Is there something wong?

Nikolas: Can you just get Luke.

Laura: Sure.

Laura went up stairs to find Luke. After a few seconds Luke and Laura came downstairs as Nikolas was pacing in front of the couch.

Luke: Hey, you keep doing that and you're going to wear a hole in my floor

Nikolas: I'm sorry.

Luke: So what is this big thing you have to tell us? Oh wait let me guess you're really the prince after all.

Laura: Luke! Let him speak.

Over the years, Luke has learned to handle Nikolas much better and can even stand to be in the same room with him. However Luke never passes up a chance to crack a joke. Something Nikolas has gotten used to.

Nikolas: What I have to tell you is something you are not going to believe. In fact if I did not see it with my own two eyes I would not believe it either.

Luke: Okay cut to the chase.

Nikolas: I think you both should sit down.

Laura: Okay now I'm worried. (Luke and Laura sit on the couch) Okay we're sitting, tell us.

Nikolas: I'm just going to come right out and say this. (takes a deep breath) Mom, Luke……Lucky…is alive.

Luke: (Gets up from the couch) Are you insane? (Louder tone) You come in here and tell us that our son who has been dead for five years is alive. What the hell is wrong with you Cassidine?

Laura: (stunned) Nikolas,…are you sure?

Luke: Forget that of course he's not sure. You know what Nikky boy that's low even for a Cassidine. Lucky is dead, he has been for five years, and unless he comes walking through that door right now there is nothing left to say.

The front door opens

Lucky: Now do you believe him dad?
