Nutrition/Food Services
Tri-County Head Start promotes good nutrition for children and families by providing breakfast, lunch and nutrition activities/education.
Because of concerns about food allergies, communicable diseases, diabetes and other health issues, any food item prepared at home will not be served in the classroom.
Head Start does encourage families to share special family recipes and come into the center to help prepare the special meal. Staff will be asking you about your special family recipe at the beginning of the year!
