December 3, 2004 - Twisted Halo and Cambio bassist Buddy Zabala won the Best Bassist of the Year Award last night at the 2004 NU 107 Rock Awards. Congratulations, Buddy!
VIVA APOLOGIZES
October 15, 2004 - Sometime in November 2001, VIVA films used approximately 2min 46secs of our song BRAD in its movie DOS EKIS without our knowledge and consent. We made it known to VIVA that we did not approve of what they did and protested during the 2001 NU Rock Awards. We have since kept our silence.. And a lot of people thought we have given up.. But after a protracted struggle, they have finally apologized. Today, Oct. 15, 2004, on page B13 of the Philippine Daily Inquirer, VIVA wrote:
"VIVA PRODUCTIONS, INC. apologizes to the members of the band TWISTED HALO for having used their song BRAD in the movie DOS EKIS, without their knowledge and consent. We regret that this unfortunate incident occured. We continue to recognize, affirm, and respect musicians' intellectual property rights over their songs. This will never happen again.
