Fifth Doctor/Tenth Doctor double drabble

"I like the celery."

"Really?" The Doctor was inexplicably pleased. In the past he had never cared what anyone thought of his lapel ornamentation. "The pinstripes are a nice touch," he offered, feeling obligated to return the compliment. He did rather like them so it wasn't a lie.

"You have nice hair as well," the other Doctor proclaimed. "Mine, you can't do anything with."

"It's a bit unruly but it suits you," the younger Doctor assured him.

"And I always thought those were excellent lips," the future Doctor rambled on. "Soft but not too soft, just the right shape and consistency and do you remember that time Nyssa brought the - "

"Yes, of course," the celeried Doctor said enthusiastically.

The other Doctor smiled wistfully. "Do you think you would mind? For old time's sake?"

"Mind what?" Then the younger Doctor caught on. "Oh, certainly not! After all they were your lips first."

This statement made perfect sense to the pair of them, as did the kiss that ensued.

"Just what I always imagined," the pinstriped Doctor declared as he drew away. "I'm sure Nyssa wasn't disappointed. I'm quite sure."

A lingering goodbye, and they retreated to their respective TARDISes.
