![]() Scandanavian Cooking The recipe used here was from the book, "The Cooking of Scandanavia" from Time-Life Books. What's Cooking?KITCHEN - Anticipating a busy summer, Wendy doesn't have plans for anything quite yet. She is considering Eggplant Parmesan, though. |
Sma KottbullarKITCHEN - Finding that she had a whole day off from work, Wendy decided that she should try to make Swedish Meatballs.Wendy approached the recipe with a little caution, potato accounted for so much of the ingredients, and other meatballs she'd tried didn't appear to have potato in them. As if in answer to her caution, the meatballs didn't hold up as well as she would have liked, but she could have mashed them up a bit more. The sauce for the meatballs didn't turn out as well as she would have liked, either. It was a little greasy and wasn't a nice off-white color. Reviews from Tom: "They're good." Reviews from Wendy: "A little bland. Not bad, but adding some spices would improve them a lot." Get the recipe on page L6 |
