Site Creator is Brad Bailey, who graduated from the Woodrow Wilson School of Public and International Affairs at Princeton in 2000 in the Masters of Public Affairs (MPA) program. Originally from Moultrie, Georgia, Brad has worked in public affairs since his undergraduate days at Yale, working as a researcher in the British Parliament, the White House, and tutoring for the King-Luthuli Transformation Centre in the South African township of Soweto.
After graduation, he investigated police brutality for the New York City Civilian Complaint Review Board. He has also worked researching and interviewing residents of the community of Orange Mound in Memphis, for a video documentary/oral history showcasing the community's history as the first planned African-American community in the country.
In addition, he has worked with Goodworks International, an organization headed by Andrew Young, former US Ambassador to the UN and former Mayor of Atlanta. He has also worked in New Jersey on educational issues with Jim McGreevey, Mayor of Woodbridge, and former Gubernatorial candidate for New Jersey. This site was first created as an academic project from students at Princeton University. However, it is an website independent of the university, and is the sole creation of students who were interested in encouraging more youths to vote.
