Handfasting.
"Merry
meet Im getting married in dec and would like to incorporate
a handfasting into the ceromony. does any one have any ideas.
also a marriage celebrant with a pagan beleif system would
be great?" -MEREDITH

- Although we
are a group of young pagans, Im sure I can send you in the
right path. As for handfasting ideas, for the reception you
might like to go with a Cinderella theme, with pumpkins, etc
on the tables - this is a public friendly approach, or a "Ye
olde" theme, where EVERYONE must fit the part, cause
it might be fine and dandy if the wedding party looks the
part, its just everyone else will seem out of place! and it
is YOUR day, so I say you call the shots! An outside
wedding would be recommended, or in an old wooden - non church
- building if you can find one, barn :D, etc. A lovely site
on traditions can be found at SpringWolfs
Pagan's Path, another useful site to visit is Handfasting
Info and lastly, the site by Selena
Fox is another priceless read. -Morgan

As for a well known celebrant Rev. Shé D'Montford
- I have to open my mouth and say something about this topic.
Rev. Shé D'Montford is a fraud, she may have certificates
and think shes knows everything, but she is a fraud. Most
of her certificates are mail order. She has her website
apparently about Paganism, she asks people to send money
into her for pagan purposes. When a search was done on the
site for how many times pagan was mentioned it was very
few and was ONLY mentioned when she asked for money. Her
website is Shamballah Awareness (http://www.shambhallah.com.au/)
if you are interested in having a look, but Meredith please
do not go to her. It is a SHAM! BB - Silveronyx
