Very Young Witch.

am an 11 year old witch. My element is water. My small group
consists of Arual wich has earth, Yllek who has earth, and
Irot who also has water. All of them are 10. We live in Louisiana
and our group is called W.I.T.C.H"

It is nice to
see you have found your path at such a young age, but you
must also realise the level of maturity and responsibility
that comes with such a decision. I am sure that you would
understand that many others your age still cannot separate
a real from a fantasy witch. A lot of young people have not
yet come to the understanding that what they see on Tv, in
the movies and in books is a false representation of the life
of a witch and show unrealistic capabilities.
For the first few years of
studying paganism and witchcraft you will realise more and
more that expectations of a fantasy witch will never come
to pass. You must also be wary of incorrect information over
the Internet and not be confused with many sites that promote
more sinister practices and have more of a satanic witch crossover
or influence. Sites out there who call themselves "Wiccan",
etc whilst being totally misinformed and displaying false
information that tarnishes the good nature of Wiccans, Pagans
and REAL witches.
Sites containing spells and
rituals with passages of speech that is not in plain English
should be avoided, this includes spelling of words backwards
or passages changed into Latin, etc as it is NOT a Pagan,
Wiccan or Real Witch practice. We do however speak in rhyme.
And the other thing to look out for is the use of unfamiliar
gods and goddesses, never include a specific god or goddess
(eg, venus) in a spell or ritual unless you have researched
their pros' and their cons (they all have cons!) and read
up on their lore. Make sure you know each of their strengths
and their weaknesses before calling on them or you may be
in for a nasty surprise!
And lastly, before I truly
make this post longer than it should be, never forget the
Karmic law! By being sour or using your power to have an effect
on a person for whatever reason you think is fit will still
draw negative influences into your life. Even if you feel
that someone needs a little dose of revenge your negative
acts and thoughts aimed at that person will never actually
do anything to them! It will just boomerang right back at
you and slap you in the face! No-one is worth the stress,
worry and trouble. Just look at them and smile as you remind
yourself "Karma is a bitch at her best! And everyone
reaps what they sow!" And nothing is as powerful as the
boomerang effect of karmic law. :-) - Morgan
