Besh Ba Gowah Archaeological Park
(Besh Ba Gowah means “metal village” in Apache.)
Darlene at the reconstructed ruins and archeological dig of the ancient Salado & Hohokum Indians from 700 years ago.
These Indians lived here from 900 – 1,400 AD. The area was abandoned for lack of water.
