| CHARACTERS |
| Ash is the main character of the series and he has sworn to become the best pokemon trainer and to become a pokemon master. He was given his first pokemon by professor oak, it was pikachu. His rival is Gary Oak, a fellow pokemon trainer from Paller Town. Ash unlike most trainers not only has to do what most trainers do, he has to face the problems of Team Rocket everyday...which in itself is a pain. He originally fought in the Pokemon League where he advanced to the fourth round losing to a new friend name Richie, then he went to the Orange Island where he won four league badges and the final round, and now he is making his way through the Johto League Throughout his quest he has caught many pokemon (for the list click here), released a few, and made a lot of friends. |
| Misty met up with Ash when he "borrowed" her bike to take pikachu to the nearest Pokemon Center. She has followed him ever since and has become quite attatched though she and Ash would never admit it. She is a water pokemon specialist and loves every water pokemon, they are her only pokemon. (Click here for a list of Misty's pokemon,) Misty has a little bit of a temper, but she is still a good trainer none the less. |
| Brock used to be the Pewter City Gym leader, but after Ash "defeated" him, he followed along with Ash. He is the oldest of the group and has various pokemon. (Click here for a list of Brock's pokemon.) He is crazy for every girl that he see's and will plead with them to be with him. He especially loves Officer Jenny and Nurse Joy. |
| Tracy is a pokemon watcher met ash on the beach. He sketches pokemon and studies their skills and attacks. He has three pokemon which are somewhat diverse and very skilled. He is truly interested in pokemon. (click here for a list of his pokemon) |
| Proffesor Oak studies pokemon and is very interested in them, their attacks, and their habits. He is Gary Oak's (Ash's rival) grandpa. He gives beggining trainers their first pokemon, he gave Ash pikachu. |
| Nurse Joy is in every pokemon center, but it is not the same person. Nurse Joy has many sisters with the same name and looks (that no one can tell apart except Brock). Nurse Joy takes care of and heals sick pokemon for trainers. She is commonly helped out by chansey who are the nurses. |
| Officer Jenny is a police officer who enforces the law to make sure that nothing bad happens or is stolen. Like Nurse Joy she has many sisters that look alike and have the same name. She is commonly helped out by growlith who are police dogs. |
| Here is Team Rockets slogan that they always use when they enter (it gets very annoying after they had said it in every episode!) To Protect the world from devestation, To reunite all people within our nation, To denounce the evils of truth and love, To extend our reach to the starts above, Jesse James Team Rocket blasts off at the speed of light, Surrender now or prepare to fight! Meowth thats right! |

| This is Team Rocket, made up of Jessie (right), James (left(, and meowth (middle). (click here for a list of their pokemon) They are supposed to be stealing rare pokemon for their boss, but they always fail. They are more concerned with their looks than anything else. In every episode they attempt to steal pikachu along with some other rare pokemon in that episode with some sort of stupid plan that never works. I wish that they would give it up and give Ash a chance to not have to bother with them. They just take up time in every episode that could be put towards good pokemon battling. |

| Gary is Ash's rival in the original episods, he was cocky and sure that he was the best, but after losing in the second round of the pokemon league he has changed his training methods and is dedicated to be the best. He trains seriously, is modest, and is the exact opposite of what he used to be. (Click here for a list of his pokemon) |

| This is Ash's mom, she is always very concerned with him and is worried that he is "changing his you know what..". She has a Mr. Mime not for battle, but Mr. Mime loves her and he does cooking, cleaning, and gardening for her. |
