A unique part of the Central and South American fauna are the spectacular varieties of Poison Arrow frogs (Poison Dart frogs) and Tree frogs. Some of these frogs are respected even by the deadliest predators and can carry enough toxins to kill hundred humans and more. The Poison Arrow frogs are fearless and are also one of the most colorful animals in the Americas. Many of the tree frogs also use color as a deterrent, even though they are non-toxic. Below I made a gallery of some of Natures living paintings.
