6 Day 5 Night Namaqualand Wild Flower Guided Coach Tours

| Day
1: |
|
Departure 07:00 from Holiday Inn on the Waterfront and travel up through
the West Coast. We will stop at Mamre to view the church, Darling to welk
in the flowers, Ysterfontein to smell the ocean, West Coast
National Park, Postberg Nature Reserve to see a wonder filled flower
desplay and onto Saldana Bay for some historty. We will travel to
St Helena Bay via the Dinosaur Park to view 60000 years of local history. Overnight in St Helena Bay (LD).

2: |
|
Departure 07:00 towards Laaiplek for a first in South Africa. Then we travel via the coast to Lamberts
Bay to visit the Bird Island favorite haunt of penguins, cormorants,
garnets and other bird species and onto Clanwillaim. We will visit the
Ramskop Flower Reserve for a walk in the flowerrs and to get some sead, Rooibos Tea Board
for some tea and the Strussberger Leather
Shoe Factory to view local industry. We will travel to Citrusdal. Overnight in Citrusdal (FB).

3: |
|
Departure 07:30 we will travel over the Cederberg Mountains to see
Leipolt's Grave and visit the Biedouw Valley to see the most flower filled
place in the Cederberg. In the afternoon we will travel to Vredendal via
Gentleman's Lodgings in Graafwater for a look back to 1686. Overnight in Vredendal (FB).

4: |
|
Departure 08:00 we will visit the Vredendal wine cellar for a wine tasting
and onto the Succulent Nursery at Vanrynsdorp then travel northward
on the N7 through the fields of wild flowers - the heart of the
Namaqualand. Stop en route at the Skilpad Nature Reserve and the
Kamieskroon Mountains. Overnight in Springbok (FB).

5: |
|
Departure 07:30 from Springbok and travel south on the Kliprand road to
the Aloe Forest. We will also visit the Waterfall and the Matjiesfontien
Wild Flower Farm in Niewoudtville for the best bulb display you have ever
seen. We will travel to Calvinia. Overnight in Calvinia (FB).

6: |
|
Departure 08:00 for a visit to the Calvinia Museum. Then onto the Great
Karoo with its unspoilt beauty and its flowers. We will stop at
Southerland and Matjiesfontien for afternoon tee. We will head for Cape
Town on the N1. Drop off at Holiday Inn on the Waterfront. Arrive back
approximately 20:00 (LB)
