Go Wild For Wildlife
YOU can kick up your heels for a good cause at the Wildlife Carers Group fundraising dinner next week.
The Wildlife Carers Group is a 24 hour mobile service that rescues sick, injured and orphaned wildlife in and around the A.C.T.
The Group promotes the general welfare and continued survival of native plants and animals.
They recognize native species as an important element of the environment and give the necessary care for the rehabilitation of injured wildlife.
The Wildlife Carers Group will hold a fundraising dinner dance on Friday, july 7, at the Canberra Southern Cross Club in Tuggeranong.
Funds raised will assist with the cost of ongoing wildlife care and to buy an ambulance to take sick, injured and orphaned native wildlife.
There will be a three – course vegetarian meal followed by live music from Canberra Band Class A.C.T.
Cost : $40 with $10 discount for tables of 10 booked. Doors open at 7.30pm.
Bookings are essential and will not be confirmed until payment is received by Monday, July 3. Residents who find sick or injured wildlife can contact 0406056099 or 61611596.
