Premiere 5.1 For Macintosh &  Windows by Antony Bolante (Peachpit Press)  A very good quick reference guide when using Premiere 5.1 and better than some more expensive books on the subject

The Sound Production Handbook by Don Atkinson (Blueprint Publishing)   Very good practical advice on location sound recording.

Video Editing Made Easy is a little booklet explaining the different kinds of editing tools available, with or without a computer.  Only covers Datavideo equipment but is useful for those undecided what editing route to take.  Includes a glossary of editing terms.
