Lewisburg, WV, to Covington, VA — Along the Greenbrier Trail, lunch on the sidewalk in White Sulfur Springs, over the eastern divide, down Dunlap Creek by humpback bridge.

Down by the Greenbrier River where Paradise lay with apples in Eden
Crossing into Virginia, a downed welcome sign riddled with bullet holes was still beautiful.
The 1835 humpback bridge for the James River Kanawha Turnpike over Dunlap Creek that flows to the Jackson that flows to the James that flows home.
