| Charleston by afternoon, I filled my water bottles along the Kanawha Trail and decided to go for Gauley Bridge on this beautiful warm day. |

| Arrived in Gauley Bridge after dark (This is a next morning photo). The New River Lodge is on the right. The Diner is on the left and was closed. Like most on this trip, hours were 6am to 7pm. Some small town resturants across the country opened at 5am, all closed by 8pm. |
