willys

Well, the day arrived. I had a rollback truck meet the trucker at a local truck stop where he backed to the rear of the truck. He slid the crate onto the rollback and off to the shop we went.
The car is a "Streetbeast" 41' Willys. I ordered it with the mustang II IFS and a 4 link rear setup using a narrowed 9 inch ford rear. It took quite a while to take apart the crate, it was very well made. Once that was done I jumped into inventory. The only thing I found missing was on the list as being backordered, it was the headlight bezels. I may not need these for a little while any way.
One we removed the body we discovered the coil over shocks were missing too. The rear chunk was also wrong. It was to be a 373 posi but was delivered as a 350 open. Man, who wants an open rear on a Pro-Street? I made a few calls and the coil overs are being shipped. The rear chunk on the other hand is some what in limbo. They told me they would call to let me know what they would do but have yet to call. I hope we get this solved soon as it may hold me up.
