41' Willys - Updates
This week Gary Stowe from Street Beasts called and offered several apologies. He corrected all rear end problems and offered to continue any help I may need. He also told me he went back and inspected several other rears and found they too had been not properly aligned. He went on to inform me that the rear ends were provided to them and he would be changing suppliers.
In fact when I told him I changed motor plans from a SB Chevy to a BB Chevy he told me he would send me new motor mounts no charge. Well, I feel much better and feel like I'm on track again. I always felt the quality of the car is outstanding. Thanks to Gary I feel the service is there too.
Well not much will be happening these next several weeks. I will return to Australia for 2 weeks, a trip I really enjoy. But I will be hard at it on the Willy's following my return.
As of this date StreetBeasts (Gary Stowe) has yet to deliver any of the parts they agreed to. I've been working on the motor some but really need to get the chassis going soon. I'm afraid my days of waiting for a solution are coming to an end. Stay tuned!

Well here I am, I was given a partal refund on the rear costs and the rest of my parts are now here. I would like to say that StreetBeasts went the extra mile to support me but the truth is I had to bug the Shit out of them. Calling and speaking to almost everyone. I later sent an email asking for suggestions on what headers would fit a BB Chevy. I received a call first thing the next morning telling me that I would have to research this on my own. I guess that applys to the most of the rest of the car as well.
Currently the frame is over at the chassis guy having all the rear re-done. The shocks arrived but had no way of fitting the mounts SB setup. In fact the front 4 link hangers were installed upside down. Yes I have photos, look at the chassis page. I will post new corrected photos soon. Another set back is once the rear is corrected I will have to remove the front end so the frame can go back to the powder coater as the rear fix required grinding and welding. Needless to say all of this is costing a lot more than it should have. I hope to be able to move forward in next two weeks finally getting to a rolling chassis.
