6.  SHOP BUILDINGS PUNDA

Location: Breedestraat, Punda

Ownership: private 

Extended building, 18th Century. 

Three storeys with roof. The premises are of general interest because of the 18th Century facades and the galleries with arcade and detailed gable ends, which are typical of Punda.

Originally  the shops on the groundfloor were opened with large wooden doors, (see below) These doors are nowadays replaced  by contemporary window-shops
