"Kura Agostini" Location: Rouvilleweg 5 - 13 Ownership: Stichting Monumentenzorg Curaçao [Curaçao Foundation for Preservation] Complex of detached buildings between Rouvilleweg and Klipstraat: Rouvilleweg 7 - 13. The detached premises Rouvilleweg 5 are to the SouthEast. The complex of buildings is of general interest because of its value to architectural history (typical balconies on pillars, staircases of yellow brick masonry and the porch with arch on pilasters). Between this complex and the IJzerstraat Area the Kura Ulanda completes the whole urban ensemble. From 1996 on restorations took place and a congress center annex African Museum has been completed in 1999. (Owner: private) |
