The Historic Area of Willemstad is a legal protected area in which approx. 675 monuments are listed (approx. 50% of the buildings). The whole area is included as World Heritage Area. This area has been specified in zones and most significant properties per zone. The value of the zones is graded as result of the value of history and authenticity of the urban morphology and its monuments
